WDM-PON bears 5G application scenarios 1.1 Pre-transmission network architecture definition With the rapid development of mobile Internet and the emergence of a variety of new applications such as the Internet of Things, in order to cope with the future explosive mobile data traffic growth and massive device connectivity, the fifth generation of mobile communication (5G) technology came into being. In 2015, ITU-R officially defined three typical application scenarios for 5G: eMBB, mMTC and URLLC. eMBB corresponds to large-capacity mobile broadband services such as 3D/Ultra HD video. mMTC corresponds to large-scale Internet of Things services, while URLLC corresponds to services such as driverless, industrial automation, etc. that require low latency and high reliability. On November 28, 2016, China Mobile released a white paper on the 5G C-RAN requirements, architecture and challenges. MPO/MTP Connectivity in 5G Base Station

The base station of 5G will be required more than 4G period, because of the higher frequency and wider bandwidth. The connectivity need to be more accurate for the high-density distribution of 5G mini and normal base station in future. For Special highdensity multi-core cabling system, like FTTA base station, RRU-BBU, emer-gent telecommunication repair and  temporary multi-core wiring, we developed two types of MPO outdoor waterproof connector. The   waterproofing   grade is IP68, and all them have a dust cap to keep the interface clean before installation.The connectivity can be locked to protect the fiber connection from dust, water and other interruption from the nature. The waterproof box is the converter station of the inner connections.And it give the users more possibility for the cabling of 5G base station.
